Making Sense of the Fraud Vendor Landscape

As the market rapidly expanded from four players in the year 2000 to well over 200 fraud vendors today, the landscape has underwent some drastic changes. In such a dynamic market with so many different vendors and solutions it can be difficult to determine which options are best fit for your company. Attendees of this training session will learn how to group and define fraud vendors to better understand and compare the vendors and solutions in the market today, and how their services fit your fraud prevention needs.

We Want 100% Satisfaction: There is nothing worse than signing up for training only to find out that it wasn't on the topic you expected, or it wasn't advanced enough to provide value. If you have any doubt about the fit of a course to your particular needs, please give us a call. We will be happy to discuss the course, and to provide a more detailed overview on the content to ensure you make the most of your training dollars and time.

Fraud Vendor Landscape

  • This session provides a method to categorize fraud solutions and services into 8 groups so you can better perform apples-to-apples comparisons. Building on the “Moving from Tools to Solutions” session, this course provides a description of these 8 groups, what each focuses on and where they are best applied.

This course was last updated in March, 2019 with expanded discussions on the many vendors and service types while classifying them within our vendor caregory groupings. Payment and risk market trends related to new mobile payment methods and card association initiatives like 3D Secure 2.0 are also discussed, as well as updated global and regional eCommerce market forecasts through 2020 and beyond. Offered in HTML5 and compatible with all mobile devices.

For a merchant starting business, if they know about these training programs it would save them a lot of trouble down the road. Unfortunately many don’t learn about fraud until it is too late.

The training program is fantastic. You don’t have to download anything, it runs quickly and easily right on your web browser. You can pause and go back to write down or review information, play and navigate through the lessons seamlessly.

T. Hornbaker, eCommerce Certified Fraud Professional

With my experience I thought I would breeze through the training program with no problem, but I’m finding myself challenged in some aspects and learning things I haven’t seen before.
